SEPTEMBER and OCTOBER 2024

I just wanted to thank all of the volunteers that worked the corn roast. their help was greatly appriciated. We will be having a ceremony for the 9/11 at 11 a.m. Ed Akers golf outing is September 15 @ Vermilion Country Club, shotgun start at 8:30 am. Post is having a Swiss Steak dinner Oct. 12. all proceeds go to the Ohio Veterans Home in Sandusky. Legion early bird is October 20, 12 to 4. Dues must be paid in order to particapate. American Legion and officers would like to give a big shout out to the ALLAMERICANTREECARELLC.COM company for donating his equipment and his time to help us set our electric sign. Their help was greating appriciated. If you need tree work done contact them at 440-506-4920. The Grover Slot tournament well be September 18 @ 7:00 pm. A $25 entrance fee is required. The signup sheet is behind the bar.

Hope everyone had a great summer. Welcome to fall. We will be hosting a Poppy Steak Fry September 28 from 4:30 to 6:30 pm. Tickets are behind the bar. Hope to see you there. We will be participating in the Homeless Standdown October 23. We are looking for gently used coats, sweaters, glove, hats and other warm clothing. Please drop them off at the Legion. We are always looking for volunteers. See an officer if you are interested. Next meetings are September 10th and October 8th at 7:00pm.

I would like to see more of our members get involved and show up at our monthly meetings, the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm.   Our new Officers for the upcoming year are, Commander Richard Sand, 1st vice Corey Dumski, 2nd vice Tom Dumski, Adjutant Todd Vargo, Treasure Gary Farnsworth, Sgt. at Arms Jeffery Little and Chaplin Lucky Bigenhd.

Hello Riders and friends. Our PTSD memorial run is September 14. Starting time is 9:00am. October 19th at 9 am we will be decorating for our Halloween party. All help is appriecated. Kids Halloween Party is October 27th at 11:00am to 1:00pm. Signup will be behind the bar. As always please be careful and lets make this a wonerful riding season.
